MadWorld, the annual conference hosted by MadCap Software, is a dynamic gathering that ignites the technical communication industry. With over 40 captivating sessions, advanced workshops, and unparalleled networking events, MadWorld attracts more than 250 attendees and esteemed speakers each year.
As the Creative Manager at MadCap, I led the design team in putting together an extraordinary event experience for MadWorld. From the initial stages of event planning to the seamless coordination of vendors and on-site setup, we crafted a truly immersive and inspiring environment. Our focus spanned various critical elements, including design strategy, event branding, conference wayfinding, impactful keynote presentations, and stage designs. Collaborating closely with a cross-functional team, we brought the event's creative vision to life, ensuring that every detail reflected the energy and innovation of the industry, leaving a lasting impact on attendees.

Our event branding and design strategy for MadWorld aimed to foster community among technical writers while positioning MadCap Software as an industry leader through knowledge-sharing and showcasing best practices.
Our chosen visual style was characterized by bold and colorful designs, utilizing color-blocked design elements. We introduced a bright gradient paired with black and white throught the event design.
